A thank you from Lowe Alpine

I am sure I speak for most competitors and helpers at the LAMM in Glen Shiel when I say that it was the most enjoyable and exciting LAMM to date.

As usual Martin Stone excelled himself this year with his hard work. I am sure all competitors would like to thank Martin and his partner Debbie for their sterling efforts. Lowe Alpine values its relationship with Martin and Debbie and know that they and their helpers make the LAMM what it is - the connoisseurs' mountain marathon.

Lowe Alpine would also like to thank Chris Hall and Mark Hawker for the great time and effort they put into planning and controlling the LAMM this year. I am sure all competitors thought the courses were superb, even if you were cursing them at the time.

Many people help with the organisation and running of the LAMM behind the scenes and their help is most gratefully acknowledged by Lowe Alpine. Those of us at Lowe Alpine who come to the LAMM each year (either to help or compete) enjoy meeting up with the friends who provide such valuable support.

Most of all Lowe Alpine would like to thank you the competitors - you continue to make the LAMM the friendliest mountain marathon. We hope to see you all next year in another fantastic location.
