LAMM
2004 19th/20th June - North This Year!
It's
time to start thinking about the LAMM again.
This time the emphasis is on NORTH, in fact
to the north of Inverness. It is a maximum
of about 2 hours drive north of Inverness.
I know this sounds like a tall order for
some but in fact it is only about an hour
longer than for LAMM 2001 at Glenshiel.
We think you will find it well worth the
effort.Entry forms will appear on www.lamm.co.uk
in late February.
The
obvious airport for the event is Inverness
and now is the time to snap up the cheap
deals. We will as usual provide coach transport
on Friday
afternoon/evening to the venue and return
transport to get you back for flights leaving
Inverness NO EARLIER THAN 17.00 on Sunday
20th June. The direct flight options are
not great and I will list them on the website
in the first week of February. When considering
flights it would be worth looking at options
like direct flights to Inverness on the
Friday and a returning flight via Glasgow
or Edinburgh.
Our
course planner this year is Angela Mudge,
top Scottish mountain runner and controller
is Ken Daly, experienced planner of major
orienteering events. Both are based in Edinburgh.
Entry
form and event details will be available
here at the end of February.
