LAMM 2005 Dates, Event Sponsorship and Final 2004 Roundup
Sunday 5th December 2004

It's time to think ahead to LAMM 2005. It will take place on 18/19 th June 2005, the same weekend as last year. As usual, the venue will be a fine and undisclosed location in keeping with the Connoisseurs Mountain Marathon! I can tell you that this year we will be further south than Glencarron 2004. We like to hold a "far north" and a "not so far north"event on alternate years, always in a classic part of the Scottish Highlands. Our planner for 2005 is Andy Creber, well known to MMers as both a planner and competitor. He planned for us at Spittal O'Glenshee 2003.

Excellent News From Lowe Alpine
We are delighted to be able to announce another three years of LAMM sponsorship from Lowe Alpine and this secures the event for the foreseeable future. Lowe Alpine has been a great sponsor ever since the first event at Arrochar in 1994. Many thanks from the organisers and competitors alike for a top commitment to people, enjoying competition in the outdoors.

Need More Information About the LAMM?
Please take a look at all the online 2004 information - Event Details & Final Details, Best Routes & Results, Control Descriptions, Galleries and Reports/Feedback from Glencarron. This should give you a flavour of the event and help you to choose the best course for your team.

Entries for 2005
Entry to the event is online only at www.lamm.co.uk and from approximately the end of January. Please ensure you have joined the LAMM email mailing list so that we can tell you when entries are being taken. The LAMM following is so faithful that the 2004 event filled, even in the far north of Scotland. We would strongly recommend a very early commitment this year to avoid disappointment. We will save a few slots to allow late entries for Elite and A teams.

LAMM 2004 Tees and Car Stickers
