COACH BOOKING LIST

We recommend booking flights or trains to Inverness as it is much more local to the event than Edinburgh or Glasgow. You can see details of flights in and out of Inverness here. Edinburgh Airport is about 45 minutes closer to the Event Centre than Glasgow Airport.

This year we will be providing optional coach transport from Inverness to the Event Centre and back but NOT from Glasgow. Please also read further on about possible transport from Edinburgh Airport.

To make a booking or add more details about your transport, please UPDATE ENTRY. Details of those who have booked are displayed above and precise details of the arrangement will be available by 6th June. Coach ‘managers’ will try to ensure that connections are kept with late-running trains, coaches and flights, so long as they are made aware that people are arriving on them.

USE OUR TRANSPORT FROM INVERNESS
Friday 10th June - We are providing transport to the Event Centre from Inverness Airport and Railway Station to meet incoming transport indicated on the Coach Booking List.

• Depart 17:20 Inverness Railway Station. Meeting all Buses/Trains arriving by 17:05
• Depart 17:50 Inverness Airport. Meeting all flights arriving by 17:30
• Depart 20:45 Inverness Railway Station. Meeting all Buses/Trains arriving by 20:30
• Depart 21:15 Inverness Airport. Meeting all flights arriving by 21:05

The price of a single journey is £12 per person. There will be no coach manager on the coach as we hope that the procedure will be fairly straightforward. Those who are waiting at the railway station should find the Ewens coach parked at the back of the station, behind Debenhams. If you walk alongside platform 1, you should see the Ewens Coach which will display a LAMM sign.

Sunday 12th June - The transport to Inverness will leave the Event Centre at 14:00. It is only intended to connect with flights leaving Inverness Airport from 17:10 onwards. These are BE7326 to London Gatwick at 17:10, BE207 to Manchester at 17:55 and EZY394 to Bristol at 18:20. The coach will call at Inverness railway station approx. 15:30 so please don't book onward transport before 15:45.

TRANSPORT FROM EDINBURGH
We will NOT be providing transport from Edinburgh. However, you may wish to consider taking The Megabus from either St. Andrews Square Bus Station Edinburgh or from Edinburgh Airport to Inverness and then using our transport from Inverness to the Event Centre. See http://uk.megabus.com

FLY DRIVE - SHARE CAR HIRE
We have a special webpage on the website devoted to helping those who arrive early on the Friday by plane to be put in touch with others who might like to share a hire car rather than wait for our coach transport.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A COACH
This is not a disaster as long as you REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR DRIVER'S LICENCE & A CREDIT CARD IN YOUR OWN NAME. There are a number of car hire firms situated at the airports and in the cities. Look out for other LAMMers in the same predicament so that you can share a car between two teams.

GAS CANISTERS
